As per the new announcement made by UAE’s country Ambassador to Pakistan Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi, Pakistani nationals are eligible to apply for a five-year UAE visa. This announcement came after a meeting of the ambassador with Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori.
The five year multiple entry visa will enable foreign nationals to enter the UAE multiple times through self-sponsorship and remain in the country for a maximum of 90 days. This stay can be extended for another 90 days.
In order for Pakistani nationals to obtain this visa, certain requirements including financial statements are necessary. As per the official website, the applicant must have a bank balance of USD 4000 or equivalent in foreign currencies during the last six months. As of April 9, the USD rate is equal to Rs. 280.5 and an amount of 1.2 million PKR is required for obtaining a successful five-year UAE visa. Along with this, other requirements include valid health insurance, a return ticket and proof of accommodation.
